Terms of Service for Cybershield Protected Servers

These guidelines outline the requirements that servers must adhere to in order to maintain their Cybershield protection.

 1. Adherence to Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

All protected servers must strictly comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Any violation of these policies will result in immediate review and potential termination of Cybershield protection.

 2. NSFW Content Management

Protected servers must ensure that all content deemed Not Safe For Work (NSFW) is restricted to appropriately labeled NSFW channels. These channels must be marked as NSFW in Discord’s settings to prevent underage users from accessing them. Failure to correctly label NSFW content may lead to suspension or removal from the Cybershield program.

 3. Communication with the Cybershield Team

Protected servers are required to maintain open communication with the Cybershield team. This includes promptly reporting any threats, such as harassment, hacking attempts, or other malicious activities within the server. Regular checkins may be requested to ensure ongoing compliance and security.

 4. Vetting of Server Staff

All staff members of protected servers must have a clean moderation history within the network. This includes no prior involvement in significant rule violations. Limited exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided the staff member has demonstrated consistent and positive contributions since their infraction.

 5. Compliance with Policy Updates

Protected servers must stay informed of and comply with any changes to Cybershield policies. Policy updates will be communicated through official channels, and servers will be given a reasonable timeframe to implement necessary adjustments. Failure to comply with policy changes may result in loss of protectection.

 6. Cooperation with Cybershield Staff

Protected servers are expected to cooperate fully with Cybershield staff members in the investigation and resolution of any incidents. This includes providing requested information, not interviening during an investigation and taking necessary actions to mitigate threats as advised.

 7. Acceptance of Cybershield Staff Decisions

All decisions made by the Cybershield staff are final and must be respected. This includes, but is not limited to, actions taken to mitigate security threats, disciplinary actions against staff or members, and any changes requested to the server’s structure or moderation practices. Appeals may be submitted, but the server must comply with the initial decision while the appeal is being reviewed.

8. Acceptance of Liability

By engaging with or utilizing Cybershield and its associated features, systems, or connected activities, you hereby assume full responsibility for any and all damages, financial or otherwise, arising from your use or misuse of Cybershield. This acceptance of liability extends to any direct or indirect consequences associated with your interaction with Cybershield and its components.

 9. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to adhere to any of these guidelines may result in the termination of Cybershield protection. In cases of severe or repeated violations, further actions may be taken, including reporting to Discord Trust & Safety and other relevant authorities.

10. No Warranty

Cybershield is provided "as is" and "as available," without any representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied. Cybershield disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. Cybershield makes no guarantee that the system will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. Use of Cybershield is at your sole risk.
